Basic rules
- Rank 1–8: Rat, Cat, Wolf, Dog, Leopard, Tiger, Lion, Elephant. Capture equal or lower ranks.
- Only rats swim. Lions and tigers jump rivers unless a rat blocks the path.
- Three traps surround each den. An enemy in your trap can be captured by any of your animals.
- No check/checkmate. Win by entering the opponent den or eliminating all opponent animals.

- Enter the opponent den
- Capture all opposing animals
